Life is full of little moments. While most are seemingly insignificant, others are truly pivotal. For me, it was about a year ago. I was twenty-one years old, in my last year of college in New York, at a welcome event in my dorm. I was talking to friends when Won came over to us and asked, “is it just me or is Bailey a really good looking guy”? Bailey was an international student studying abroad for only one semester. Fast forward to the present, I live in the UK with him and his family, and am pursuing my Masters here. That moment was so silly and small, but it changed my life.
Having done long distance for 6+ months, I know how hard it can be to communicate across seas and time zones. With Bailey, to help with the distance I made “open when…” letters. For you (my friends and family), I created this blog. I hope that by documenting my adventures and experiences in these posts, it will make the distance feel a little bit smaller.
